A sassy pair of red shoes - have been looking for a pair that said 'buy me' for a long time. One day, there they were, in the shop window, with a sale price tag, saying 'please try me on'.
We were wandering around looking for a great fish and chip shop we had heard about, in Christchurch New Zealand, and it didn't seem to be where we thought it was. Wandering back and forth, up and down various city blocks, our dinner at The Fish and Chip Shop was looking less and less likely to take place.
And then there they were - the red shoes looking very sassy in the shop window. I looked longingly at them and my beloved suggested I try them on. Like the glass slipper for the Princess, these little red shoes were just right for my feet! No need to prance around the shop trying to decide 'yes or no'. This little pair of red shoes was coming home with me.
Red shoes - I love my red shoes!!
And we did find the fish and chip shop too but we never did eat there.
